JAZZ ENSEMBLES
Mainstream | Ken Kolodner | Jazz Caravan | David Bach

Mainstream Jazz
is an excellent grouping of some of the better jazz musicians.   The group consists of Stand-up bass, keyboard and drums (with brushes).   You can add saxophone, trumpet or other musicians of your liking.  They have a younger twist to the standard jazz sound.  They can be very formal or add a bit of fun to the standard background jazz sound.  They can perform any style of jazz from swing to standards, or ballads to Latin. The band sets the perfect environment for any cocktail or dinner reception.

Ken Kolodner
If you want an incredible musician with a unique sound, Ken Kolodner is the perfect musician.  Ken is recognized as one of "one of today's most accomplished, musical hammer dulcimer artists.   A recent review described his playing as "stunning in its musicality" (Dulcimer Player News).  The hammered dulcimer presents a unique, but sophisticated sound.  Add a flautist or violin and you have a sound that is both classy and unique.  Depending on the ensemble, they can play all styles of music from Classical to World music to Bluegrass

Jazz Caravan
was voted one of Baltimore's best Jazz bands by the Music Monthly readers' poll. They are a six-member group that performs at concerts and events throughout Maryland and the Washington metro area. The band's members bring more than 20 years of professinal experience to their music, offering a diverse repertorie of jazz standards from the 1920's-

1960's, as well as original tunes with a vintage flair. The band's special blend of horns and vocals creates a delightful classic sound with a distinctively energetic edge.>Back to top

David Bach
The David Bach Consort is a wonderful local modern jazz ensemble that travels the country and has had a CD on Billboard's Modem Jazz chart.  Luckily for us, they are from Baltimore.  David (as a soloist or with his ensemble, can play a great mix of music from traditional Jazz to modem Jazz to popular songs with a Jazz feel.   They have a modem yet sophisticated sound. Recently the band has played for BMW in Atlanta, Gannet in Washington, D.C. and for a Lexus roll out party.  If you are looking for a uniquely talented, jazz sound, David’s group is an excellent choice.
